Jon’s Guitar Collection
Last call for anyone interested in one of Jon's guitars. I've added more to the page. Some are even a color besides black
Grief is a wild thing. At first you hold on to everything your person has ever touched, because that's all you have to hold on to now. But I have very recently realized that keeping everything is an actual, physical weight you carry every day. I'm already carrying enough emotional weight. And there are guitars that I really love, that were the "crown jewels" of his collection ( yes, including the black hello kitty guitar), but there's no space to display and enjoy them. So it's time to let go of some things, not everything, but some.
After this week, these will be sold to a guitar store. If you are interested in one, but can't pay this week, I can hold it until the end of the year. And if you want to see any, let me know and I will bring it to the forge.
Jon was known for his guitar collection as much as he was known for Blacksmithing and theater. Guitars and music had been a lifelong passion.
The time has come to share his collection. Not all of his guitars will be available, but these are the ones we, as a family, are comfortable parting with at this time..
